“I’d been stuck at 3 hours 42 minutes for over 3 years. Runners at my local running club who were much better than me told me that I needed to just keep putting more miles in. In reality, I couldn’t. I was constantly run down, getting coughs and colds every 6 to 8 weeks. And I was already running 6-10 times a week. With a young family and busy job, it wasn’t sustainable. The idea of running more simply wasn’t an option.

Then I met Elliot and at first I thought he was genuinely crazy. He said I was running too much. He started talking to me about getting stronger in order to run faster. He told me about Sled training, band work, the importance of the posterior chain, building trunk stability and head control and lots lots more. I’d never heard of any of it, and my running mates thought he was going to ruin me.

In reality, training with Elliot was the best thing that ever happened to me. In just 5 months of training I went from 3 hours 42 minutes to 3 hours 15 minutes. Without really trying I also lost 7lbs of fat, gained muscle, and perhaps most importantly, stopped feeling run down and burned out all the time.

A lot of what he says definitely isn’t mainstream. But when you speak to him and really listen, you’ll see that there’s science and proof, logic and reason behind everything he suggests. If you want to take your performance to the next level, I’d recommend speaking to Elliot.”
